Tag: class discussion is dead

April 26, 2026

Kids these days…

26. hush

sometimes i fear
i’ll be stuck forever
like a fly in the web
silence sullen students spin
around their still
bodies — a thick not

talking and not
looking that spreads
out to wrap the room
with its sticky filaments

trapped in that
delicate
suffocating
hush
i wonder why
i’m waiting
and then what i might be
waiting for —
